Seven Sisters are a series of chalk sea cliffs on the English Channel coast. Located in the county of East Sussex, it is a stretch of the sea-eroded section of the South Downs range of hills. The cliffs are formed from Cretaceous chalk which are the remains of microscopic marine algae from 65-100 million years ago. They are actively eroding at a rate of 30-40 cm per year. Seeing dartmoor ponies grazing in their native habitat was also a site to see!
